The Sorbtree Corporation board has long adhered to governance principles designed to assure the continued vitality of the board and excellence in the execution of its duties. The board has had in place a set of governance guidelines, reflecting those principles. They cover issues such as the optimal number of board members, who determines meeting agenda items (Chairman and committee chairs), and the general criteria for people selected to join the Board (business or professional experience, diversity of background, and array of talents and perspectives).
